Hear Me Out Geraldton – Episode 40 – with James Knox of J.F.K (Perth Garage Band)

James and I chatted about all things J.F.K via Skype; from suits to the band’s origin, their new single, Drug Aware Fools Festival, and much more! Be sure to check out the podcast below to find out more about this amazing Perth band. Go listen to them rock Geraldton this Saturday, April 7th at the Drug Aware Fools Festival at Stow Gardens.

J.F.K is a powerful punch of Garage Rock fronted by singer-songwriter James Knox. Drawing influence from The Hives, Queens Of The Stone Age and Temples the band delivers a unique sound that combines floating guitar riffs and infectious Brit-Pop melodies with one of the most manic and animated live shows in the Perth scene.

Since forming at the beginning of 2016 the boys in suits have quickly been making a name for themselves – taking out two major Perth band comps in 2017, supporting the likes of The Belligerents, Killing Heidi, Wesley Fuller and Abbe May, playing their first festival slot on Hyperfest 2018 and getting national airplay for their tracks A Boy And A Boy and Forget About It.

Hear Me Out Geraldton host a range of local podcasts with a variety of guests engaging discussion on the ordinary, popular & the strange.
